WHO officer Alejandro Costa visited Tianyuan on 26 May 2010. He gave an overview of epidemiological situation in Africa and introduced the polysaccharide and conjugate vaccine demand in Africa and global market. Tianyuan gave an overview of the current production of meningitis vaccine. Costa also visited the meningitis vaccine facility and reviewed the relevant documents. Meanwhile, he exchanges his opinions about our international registrations for meningitis vaccine and WHO pre-qualification process with Tianyuan colleagues.
